So I made a withdrawal this weekend from a Chase bank through a teller and requested all large bills. As I was getting the money ready to meet a guy from craigslist I noticed the front printing (Ben Franklin side) was off centered. It was all the way to the left edge, easily noticeable if you looked at the bill. I checked the other bills and they were perfectly centered on both sides. Didn't think much of it and paid the guy and left. He didn't bother checking at all.

Now looking back did I get a fake bill? Or was it a printing error that could be worth something? Sorry didn't think of taking a pic of it at the time.

A lot of them aren't cut perfectly centered. Not that remarkable.

Unless the printing is off the page, then it's worth thousands.

some loser tried to pass this off on me. i told him to put it back in his monopoly set.

the blue strip is also not always in the same spot from bill to bill.

Doubt that off-centering was worth anything more than face value.

The new hundred I have in my wallet is off-centered.
