Looking for a cash receipt to either Bestbuy or CompUSA for the full retail version of Microsoft Office XP Professional. I lost the original and cannot take it back without a receipt. It is the retail version still in the original plastic tub and I feel very moronic right now. I just burned 2 garbage bags full of old paperwork, bank statements, and receipts. I think my receipt is nothing more than ashes. I live in oregon but I doubt it matters where the receipt is from as long as it's a store I have access to and the receipt is not more than 30 days old. I would consider monetary compensation to the person that can help me out. I am desperately in need of this.
I have sent an e-mail to the moderator to ask if this post is allowed and I have yet to get a resonse or a thread lock. Though I feel it is an appropriate question to ask in the off topic forum I will await word from the moderator as I have already explained to them that I was unsure if this was or was not allowed. So for all you thread crappers who are probably just getting real jobs take note that I am bringing it to their attention because I am not afraid to admit a mistake when I make it.
PS what sounds like a poor excuse to you is my reality. You have free will to say whatever you want but it's my problem. You don't have to like it and maybe you could have bought it cheaper. I am very happy for all of you.
