Hey I have a norelco advantage and hate it. It irritates my neck, which i think is due to the circular style blades. I want to try a panasonic shaver to see if its any better. Anyone have similiar experience like this?

Also, anyone have any websites selling elctric shavers cheap? I remember a site that sold refurbished ones at like half price but i forgot it...... thanks

I personally use a Remington. I can't remember the model and I am at work so I can't look it up. Whatever brand you decide on do not get a cheap one. Expect to pay at least $50 for any kind of quality.

nothing beats the 'ol razor and gel. I remember switiching when I got complementary package from Gillette. Now, I'll never give up my mach3 for an electric razor.

I have a Panasonic wet/dry 13,000 RPM razor I got from Sharper Image and I love it.

I've always been a Braun guy but after my last Braun's battery went kaput, I was looking to get another Braun but they only offered the same model with a different casing. So I went with the Panasonic and have been very pleased. The one thing that I love about it is being able to use it in the shower as well as with shaving cream. It also has a pretty neat recharging system in that there are no contact wires or exposed outlets on the shaver.

The one negative I would say is after 2 years the battery is starting to lose it's charge a lot faster that before (used to last 2-3 weeks per charge). Now it's only about 1 week. I'd like to send it back to the shop to get a new battery but there are only 2 places in the US that repair Panasonics and I'd have to mail it in to do so.

Doggiedog-I found one of the Panasonic Linear shavers at overstock.com for 55% off, but it is refurbished. I am mainly conerned about one thing, does it irritate the neck?
