Doesnt matter to me. 19" minimum. Also, from that azatech site, is it reliable? good products, customer support? anyone had any experiences with them?

I think before you decide, you should go somewhere that has both and use them and see what you like.

I personally can't stand looking at every LCD I can remember. I haven't used any really high end ones, but I'm used to looking at CRTs and don't like the image LCDs create as far as motion (they're getting better) and I like the colors of CRTs better.

There are plenty of threads on LCDs vs CRTs too. You should read some opinions and decide what's important to you.

Dell LCDs are pretty popular around here, and are often there's some deals around where you can get a really nice price on them.

I have an NEC CRT and like it a lot. I've had it for 4 years though so I'm not really up to date on what's a good buy now.

I don't know what azatech is... sorry

dell p1130( black w/ 21 inches of pure sweetness). got mine for 199+ shipping. Its a dell w/ sony trinitron tube. Best one I've ever used. Search at pricegrabber. Got mine from hypermicro.com

I just purchased the IBM P260 (the black version) from AzaTek , and I should get it tomorrow. I will let you know what I think after playing a bit of HL2 and Doom 3 on it tomorrow night.

It'd weigh quite a bit, my 19" CRT is quite a bit to lug around. I don't think you'd be going to many LAN parties with that 22 incher.

22 incher weighs about 65 lbs...give or take. get the nec fp2141sb...best monitor out there for gaming..and well...everything. when it comes to lcd...im not the person to ask because i cant find a single solitary reason, other then the sexiness factor, to buy an lcd imo

There is nothing like a SONY trinitron for gaming. I'm still using a Multiscan G400 19". I have a Dell 17" flat-panel that is much better for browsing but games just look great on the SONY.
