Reccomend a good free/cheap MMPORG

I specifically would like one that is extremely complex empire building type, but others are ok. I don't like the character types though (where you build up your characters skills, powers, blah blah blah).

I don't recommend getting into a MMORPG unless you have all the time in the world, or like being addicted to a game that really has no true return. good luck on your decision, but i for one, am now against them. good day

hell, I played Mankind. If you know that game, you know what a real MMPORG can be. Prior to 1.5, I owned

I personally find all MMORPG's out currently boring and uninspired, but EVE Online might fit the bill. I didn't particularly care for it, but it has that empire-building aspect you're looking for. Currently in late beta.

Damn, really? I thought they were letting everyone in. Though I signed up the minute they started accepting apps and just got in 2 weeks ago. Maybe in the next couple weeks... Anyway, I'm playing Planetside now. Got a good squad I play with, good Tribes-style play.
