the numbers wont hold it. milwaukee still has tens of thosands of votes out there. At this point, not enough to change the results. But the early calls that said walker 52-48, will be more accurate then a gaint beat down.

This is what happens when uneducated people vote. Sad really.

Exactly. Walker should have been winning by a much larger number if not for the union drones. Hell, there never should have _been_ a recall election. But in the end it was amazing experiencing reality win over fantasy 😀

Leave it to the dysfunctional Democrat districts to report last.

That's what happens when your district actually has, you know, people in it.

The same pattern occurred during the Republican primaries. I'm sure you'll find some way to blame that on the Democrats too, as soon as some drone on Fox News tells you how to do so.

i'm waiting for the Asum to come in and explain how his side got so beat down after him claiming over and over and over again, that walker would get kicked out of office, and how the vast majority of people disagreed with him.

Oh and a big fuck you to the recall supports(Asum, dcowmen, craig234 & bowfinger) that helped dragged the state through the mud for 15+ months.

P.S.

In the words of Rebeca Kleefisch

"Now this is what democracy looks like"

I hold to my belief that his income is related to his outward support of Democrats over Republicans, regardless of the situation.

In the end, today is the day we get to sit back, relax, and enjoy the evening. Don't think of the fools, they are not worth the time nor effort 🙂

Riiiiight. It's democracy when your side wins; when the other side wins, then everyone breaks out the whining and conspiracy theories.

You partisan hacks are amusing. The last two pages of this thread are like listening to middle schoolers on a playground -- and not the honors students.

Partisan hack?

Living in this state, for 15 months, the left has been protesting, beating on their drums, screaming this is what democarcy looks like. All while forcing this recall on the state. edit +all without any actual votes cast, or election had.+

I'm glad its all over for now. This state has been in election mode for almost 3 straight years. None stop ads, non stop elections.

finally over.

You're in this thread. Where does your partisan hackary fall?

Seriously, it's not so much a celebration of Republicans winning over Democrats, it's a celebration knowing that those individuals who choose to live a life of misery hating Republicans, only have more and more misery awaiting them 😛 And they have no one to blame but themselves.

Don't count on it.

Remember, to a "progressive", the only reason working class citizens ever vote Republican is because they have been brainwashed by propaganda. Today changes none of that.

thats true.

But I want to belive the recall non-sense that has been around for 15+ months is now over.

I think the people of Wisconsin have spoken. Good for them!

The win percentage is very large and this is going to be a very big problem for the Democrats and the unions. They froze many other states from acting by doing the recall, but the percent that Walker will win by and the exposure of just how weak unions are today will embolden their opponents.

I am sure that many people voted for Walker because they were pissed that there was a recall. However, who do you think they will blame?

This was supposed t obe a "too close to call" "within the margin of error" election. This was supposed to show that the voters thought that the actions taken against the public sector unions did not have the support of the people. Instead, the results show the opposite.

Wow, I cannot wait for the time when California is able to eliminate public sector employees collective bargaining rights.

This gives me hope that the people of California will wake up to the fleecing that has been happening at both the state and local levels here.

Sorry, sweetheart, but your attack is misdirected. All I did was provide facts and data. You're just butt-hurt because time and again those facts and data refuted your inaccurate and often outright dishonest comments (plus I mocked the fact that you used some variation of the phrase "evil unions" in about 75% of your posts).

If you had one ounce of intellectual honesty, you'd direct your ire to your fellow Wisconsin voters. They're the ones who signed the recall petitions in record numbers, not me. They're the ones who, at one point at least, expressed support for recalling Walker by 58%, meaning a good chunk of Wisconsin Republicans also wanted him gone. But that was many months and many millions of dollars ago.

As far as this election is concerned, if that's what the people of Wisconsin want, more power to them. They are free to run their state however they choose. Congratulations to Walker and his supporters.

if walker wins, will you admit that wisconsin thinks unions are public enemy #1?
i don't think you need to worry about that scenario...

All of the Republicans won.

You are wrong.

It's more than just Wisconsin.

The U.S. is history as it was known.

Republicans have successfully destroyed it.

California needs this as well but the bigger problem there facing are illegal immigrants
