High turnout in elections generally favors Dems... Repubs depend heavily on complacency. That's how Walker won in the first place.

If it rains, Walker is sure to win. Studies show many dems do not vote if water is falling from the sky.

Per the linked article, Dems cast 670,000 votes, Repubs 646,000.

read what I said again.

Then remember that the primary had little to no impact on who the republican canidate for govenor was going to be.

Then remember some republicans crossed over.

Then remember not all dems will vote for barret.

The first point is immaterial.

The second impossible to substantiate.

The third is wishful thinking, at least in a macro sense. It seems likely that Dems will close ranks behind Barrett.

Meanwhile, Walker plays the victim-

The charge of special interest money behind Barrett is... outrageous, considering Walker's war chest & funding sources.

Not to mention that the chances of a federal indictment against Walker loom large in the John Doe affair...

It's getting interesting.

I heard a report on WGN radio out of Chicago it is like $80 million projected to be spent on these campaigns up through the election.

Bottom line is, the rest of the country is fueling the regrowth of Wisconsin just by having this "controversy". Kind of makes me want to start up all sorts of controversies in my area and rile up the nation to give us truckloads of cash!

Actually, the other bottom line is, first I think Walker will win, second I do believe that however this vote goes, there will be no change in Wisconsin. Neither side will ever concede anything, both sides will fight fight fight.

what strawman is he building.

You brought up the issue.

Cant defend it now can you?

Of course I can-

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

* $8.37 million, or roughly 63%, of the total $13 million raised by Walker came from out-of-state;
* 74% of individual contributors were from out-of-state.

Top out-of-state contributors include noted private school voucher booster Richard DeVos, founder of Amway, and failed presidential candidate Newt Gingrich's SuperPac sugar daddy, Sheldon Adelson, each contributing $250,000. A cool half million came from ABC Supply Company Co-founder Diane Hendricks from Beloit, which boosted his in-state totals substantially.

Read the whole thing.

so he wasn't building a strawman.

P.S your story shows walker raised ~5million in state. Probably far more then the union puppets.

Pure Denial. Walker attacked his opponent over special interest money, even as the vast majority of Walker's vastly greater money & support comes from special interests, very wealthy ones.

When it's all said & done, spending on Walker's behalf will dwarf money spent for Barrett. If Barrett can win against that, it'll tell us that Walker & cronies deeply offended the people of Wisconsin & deserve to be tossed out on their keesters.

Do you even know what a real journalist is anymore? 5013c ALEC obsessed propaganda sites aren't what I call reliable.

LOL it's amazing how all the Draconian Legislation pushed through by Walker and his cronies can be directly linked to ALEC but of course you wouldn't even acknowledge this fact no matter how many links were previously posted.

I love Barrett's new Tv spot which clearly lays it out for everyone to see and it will also be interesting to see how Scooter side steps these issues in the future debates.

Hey Mono, if you want a sneak peak at it goto this website and donate to a winning cause......http://www.barrettforwisconsin.com/splash

Are you building another strawman?

Strawman is the excuse you use when you refuse to answer an obviously related question.

I am just seeing if you are giving the unions the same contempt you are giving the other special interest groups who are funding this process, since you have only condemend the special interest groups funding the guy you want gone and not the guy you want to win.

If you refuse to answer it, I can only surmise it is because you do not consider unions special interests or you are pretending they are not funding the process. We all know unions are funding the process, so it would have to be the former. I will repost the question so you can choose to answer (or by not answering it, giving us your answer anyway):

Are you claiming Unions are not a special interest group and that they are not funding this process?
