Hello

My mining rig
ASROCK H81PRO
Kingston 120gb ssd

After several crashs now my pc reboots to bios screen. In the bios the cpu model, data and temperature is showning. Motherboard temperature is showing except ssd is not showing.

Removed ssd and connected to my personal pc and it working. Relocated the port of the peripheral to another in the psu. Also moved to another sata 3 and 2 but no use.

Any recommendations?

I suspect that's the POST screen you're looking at, but whatevs. The fact you can see anything is positive.

It's not going to get much past POST without a HDD/SSD with your operating system though. Trying different SATA ports on the motherboard is a good idea; different cables too, & different power plugs. Make sure original SSD is working in another system, & see if another drive shows up when plugged in the mining rig. Maybe go into BIOS & see if any SATA settings are changed or just reset BIOS completely. Or try unplug everything not needed to POST (GPUs, USB stuff, other drives) & see if it makes a difference.

I connected the ssd to my personal pc and the internal files showed, but I did not boot it as Operating System, which I will try later today, hopefully.

Did try different port of sata 3.0 and sata 2.0 but nothing. When I press F11 it tells me there is no boot drive.

When I connect my ssd to my pc I get 2 pop-ups:
- system reserved
- local disk (G:)

which makes me think the ssd is fine.

I connected my external hhd that had the back ups of the mining rig, motherboard detects it, but not the ssd and it tried to boot it from the eternal drive which only has a back up and when it reboots it gives
"BOOTMGR is missing
Press Crtl+Alt+Del to restart"
which is understandable since it has no operating system.

I tried this after; I have another mining rig with the exact setup but different card models. So I removed the ssd and connected it to the faulty mining rig and the same. It does not detect the ssd from my other mining rig.

Am guessing try and to install os on external drive but that means i need to get usb dvd player to install os. or I could reinstall the bios and hope this works, What do you think?

Windows won't let you install it to a USB drive, nor do you need to do so in order to flash the BIOS. I wouldn't recommend flashing the BIOS though, it's unlikely to help.

When the SSD is plugged in to the machine that won't boot, look in the boot order page of the BIOS. Do you see it mentioned anywhere there? It might be hidden inside a menu option, so expand everything.
