Not sure if this goes in another forum but I thought I'd try here first.
I've been crunching F@H pretty much forever and recently moved over to OGR. With F@H, I ran both the x64 client and GPU client and things were stable. When I moved over to OGR, I ran the X64 and GPU clients as well without any issue.
I recently upgraded from a GTX 285 to a GTX 570 and things seems stable running ORG 24/7. According to task manager, we're at 100% load.
However, when I try to transcode video, the system shuts down (no bsod, no hanging), no notice or anything, it just turns off, "cya later on the reboot". I turn off OGR before transcoding.
My modest system specs are as follows:
i7 970
Noctua NH-C12P SE14 HSF
Asus P6DT Deluxe
24gbs ram (6 x 4gbs) Corsair Vengeance 1600
OCZ Vertex III 60GBS (Boot)
~7tbs RAID 5 external enclosure over esata
Eagle Tech 620watt PS
Antec Three Hundred case
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Thoughts, comments?
