nope, I think only that Sony Alpha DSLR allows you to do that.

Yep, all DSLRs work like that (Canon, Nikon etc). I remember reading that the Sony Alpha used some trick to allow LCD to be used, but I could be wrong.

In any case, you won't miss the LCD preview at all if you get a DSLR...
