Totally stumbled across Rebel Galaxy by chance and it's a hell of a lot of fun for $20 bucks.
Apparently two guys who used to work for Blizzard subbed out a lot of artistic work, marketing, other stuff and did the programming bits and released it.
Anyone else playing this? I've got around 20 hours in. Honestly I wish I could buy the title screen as a screen saver, lol. I can sit there and just watch it for a good while.
I really like it because I can pick it up and just blast the hell out of things and put it back down in spurts and not be too wrapped up and devoted.
I'm really impressed two guys put this thing together and that the game has the polished feel it has. The gameplay is quite good.
