Interview went great, said I have to get a background check done (takes a week to 2 weeks)


I got all A's on the questions he asked and he told me I was more knowledgeable and provided more right answers than anyone he has interviewed.

If I pass then I work for that store for 8 hours then transfer to the burien store after I learn the basics.

I have no criminal background, no tickets or accidents in the last 5 years, no name changes etc... So I should be fine 🙂 I'll know in a week or 2 🙂
 
Why isn't anybody posting in the forums? This is your site folks, I know I banned a spammer but I hate one post wonders that only post ads lol
 
I guess you hit a bad time for your update Mike: the summer hole. Over on TAS there isn't really anything going on - even our NEF thread died, 😉 - and the same goes for TA here. Take away the daily stats post and you'd probably end up with 10 posts a day. So, don't worry about that, just wait for the colder days and I'm sure the site will start to fill.

I agree with BMC, it seems there is just not that much interest in posting. Crazee has been keeping up the TeAm Enterprise Forum and if it weren't for me, Wiz and MoFunk the forum would be completely dead.

In a way I believe we are experiencing the "brave new world" in as much as things get taken care of automatically without a whole lot of personal attention. Years ago before all of the stats were so readily available it took quite a bit of work to get them updated. Even then the auto stats that were available showed only the most rudimentary numbers. It took a lot of "hand crunching" or at least a lot of spreadsheet work to tweak out some of the more subtle information. Scripts written by Soni, OhioDude and others including myself were the only way to glean interesting stats and race results. A lot of that kind of stuff has gone by the board. 🙁

But before I get too sentimental, I must state that even back then the "replies to" and the "looks at" the old stat threads were few and far between. For me, there was always a rationalization where I kept trying to justify the work and time expended for the benefit received. I think the rivalry between us and BBR kept the juices flowing for a lot of us. I know it did for me ... I sort of took the competition to heart and was determined that they would not end up ahead of us at the end of Seti-Classsic. 😉

But then that's just my assessment and I may be wrong. 😛 🙂

And no worries, I thought maybe folks were scared to post there lol

I remember that it was always a bit slow before too, though.
 
A good indicator - also for my own Rosey stats post - is not the number of replies, but the number of views. If that one would only be around 5, I'd probably stop the stats. But on average, they're more than 50. So, if you have stats for your site Mike, go by views, that's much more telling than replies in my opinion.

I have to go get the uniform and read over 100 pages of material tonight so gnight and see you all tommorow lol

Oh, I am officially a parts counter person and driver lol
 
I made it through the first day and was offered 2 more jobs today, starbucks and big lots 😛

I like this one so I am keeping it.

Most of today was spent clearing out the back room and restocking/facing all the shelves, taking tests, and moving batteries around lol

It was a lot of fun 🙂 And I work with some great folks too.

Me too brother. There is a lot of lifting and I got a great workout yesterday. It will take a bit of getting used to but a few months of this and I should be able to lose all the weight i gained the last few years 😉
