Rebate check came in mail today from Walled Lake, MI

This is my first rebate tracking post so if I missed something please PM me so that I can make more effective posts in the future.

REJECTED: Samsung ML-1210 printer $50 rebate from May/June of this year through New Rochelle and Buy.com. They said Buy.com wasn't a participating retailer and I'm quite sure I checked this with them before applying.

New Rochelle won't receive any more rebates from me. They are the only rebate "company" that I've had trouble with many times and I've sent in dozens of rebates successfully to the good ones like Young America and Staples. Stay away from New Rochelle rebates!

I sent in my rebate form for the Cendyne 32x CD-RW and the rebate website says they're STILL waiting for the paperwork. Anyone have better luck? Is there a number I can call to complain? I think they made a mistake and wrote the wrong zipcode on their own rebate form. :|

Anyone waiting on a Hi-Val rebate?

I had one that wasn't really overdue, just 9 wks into that 8-10 wk window stated on the form, so I went here (http://rebate.iomagic.com/hv-rebateform.asp) and filled out their inquiry form to see what was happening with the rebate.

Got an email the same day acknowledging my request.
Got an email 2 days later saying rebate processed.
Got an email 2 hours after that one saying rebate check has been printed.

Seems like it's worth a try.

TCA = WEASELS

Just received a rejection notice on the email I sent TCA this past weekend. Apparently it tried to deliver for four days before it gave up. I got their "customer service" email address from the www.wheresmyrebate.com site. It looks like their email system is not working. Imagine that? I was complaing about three outstanding rebates that they keep push back the check mail date. Guess I'll have to file a complaint with the FTC and the AG of New York.

Received on 8/17/02 $18 from Fuji for the twin 50-pack CDR sale at Best Buy on 7/14/02. I used their online system. Haven't had a problem with them yet, and the turn-around is pretty quick.

My mom finally got hers. Of course, they chose to send it right in the period when I am moving so who knows if I will ever see mine... I hope the USPS doesn't blow it again and screw up my forward order.

got my TCA $15 for the OD PDC 16x10x40(was really a 16x12x40 CyberDrive CW038 ) today as well as my 16x10x40 (was a Lite-on 16102B but now the enclosure contains a 32x12x40 LTR3212S 😉) PacDigital Corp USB 2.0 Ext. I'm having a problem with Compusa rebate $100 for the QPS internal DVD-R/RAM drive from back in March. Rebate center says that QPS delayed the rebate date from 6/24/02 to 7/22/02. Now there're saying call QPS. QPS is saying call Compusa. Is there anything that I can do?

With the exception of the Staples $40 rebate on the 80 Gb Maxtor, my recent rebates have gotten REALLY hard to get and track. The $0 Maxtor rebate was 3 weeks to receive the check...SWEET! Other Staples rebates are NOT up to their old standards. A Verbatim $50 rebate's not been received after 4 weeks...the Cendyne, like others, has not been received. I sent that out the day I bought the drive.

My number one offender is Amazon. I sent them the $50 rebate off of WindozeXP stuff on 6/11 and they say they have not received it. Now I'm pretty blessed good with rebates. Up until these recent ones...I'm 100% on getting them. So Amazon not receiving the submission is pretty unbelievable. To add to the scenario...my orthopedic surgeon is a regular here and has the identical situation with the same rebate...except he mailed his on 6/12...Amazon has not received his either. I'm boycotting Amazon until I receive that and I've filed a complaint at FTC. Seattle's BBB is my next stop.

Anyone else having trouble with that Windows/Amazon rebate?

Just got off the phone with Compusa @1-800-278-4685 about the QPS $100 rebate. They know that there is a problem but assured me that I would be getting it. They just don't know when. Compusa took all my info also. Good luck with this one, don't buy anymore QPS products with rebates.
