Dell late rebate incentive $100

I have been waiting for months for a rebate from Dell and when I recieved a new cataloge today I called sales. I let them have it. I said I would not accept another rebate offer on any of their products. I was transferred twice and after complaining twice again I was offered a code for $100 off my next purchase and assured my rebate would be delivered within 3 business days. They must be catching H*ll to make "as stated" such "good will incentives". I'll use the $100 but not on a rebate offer. (THE SQUEAKY WHEEL GOT THE GREASE)

Finally received my Seagate 25 rebate on the 80 GB 7200 RPM drive from Dell back in April. I was just getting ready to call. Total of 84 AR.
 
Got my $100 rebate from ATT for my V60 phone Made 1 cent on the deal. Great phone much better than my old Star Tech.
 
looks like Staples is tring to stiff me out of $50 for the Cendyne CDRW drive rebate !!

Got a rejection card saying I didn't supply the serial number, I have copies of everything, and the serial number is clearly, in large numbers written on the rebate form. You would think they would use valid excuses not to honor the rebate - not one that is so easy to proof.

I used US postal return receipt, so can prove they recived the paper work. Wonder if they are having cash flow problems like alot of big companies now ?

anyone have the FAX number for the Staples rebate center ?

Did you actually send in the serial number label as requested or simply write the S/N on the form? The Staples Cendyne rebate requires both the original UPC and S/N labels from the box. Also from the rebate form "For questions about your rebate call 1-877-580-3348." You should be able to call them and they tell you FAX the missing info or validate your rebate over the phone🙂
 
Did anybody received staples webcam rebate. It's been almost 10 weeks since I mailed. It's showing the msg rebate is valid and is in final stages of processing for almost 2 months.
 
has anybody had any trouble with best buy rebates? i just sent 2 in- one for $30 for maxtor hard drive and another for $20 for sony 40x12x48 CDRW. just looking to see if i will ever get them, sorry if it was posted already. thread is kind of big 🙂
 
Finally got my seagte 50 dollar rebate for seagate barracuda IV 80gb. I think im cooling it down with rebates for a long time..
 
I got an $8 rebate check from PNY yesterday and can't figure out what it's for. I bought a stick of PNY 128mb DDR at Best Buy recently but that had a $13 rebate. Any chance they just screwed up the rebate amount?

yep.....got (my sis as well 😉 ) Fuji $7 from a CCity Fuji 50pk CDR deal that also had a $13 from CCity (got that part quick..)

 
Called CompUSA again, still no word on the QPS Rebate 24x $50 from a year ago. They still don't know what is going on. No resolution yet, but they did say they were getting alot of calls about the rebate SO CALL THEM EVERY DAY!! 1-800-390-2344 CompUSA corporate BS line
 
Finally got my $50 Visiontek GF3 Ti 200 from the Best Buy after Thanksgiving sale last November. 8 months. They claimed they had the address wrong and the check was returned. Oh well, at least I finally got it.

That is the last one I am waiting on from that whole big batch of Staples rebates. Mine says it's valid, it's processing, and will be mailed in the next 30 days, since 6/21.

Gee maybe I better call 'em up?
 
Anyone having problems with the PNY 256MB $20.00 rebate from Best Buy? They are claiming that it is only for $15 when the form clearly states $20. If anyone has had problems with this or can offer any info, please let me know.

Does anyone have an image of the AMAZON.COM phone rebate (up to 200/phone) that was offered late June 2002? I find the thread but it appears that the picture there is the SPRINTPCS rebate that was also offered.

Same here, called Parago today and they fixed it online.


 
Finally...the staples ic100 webcam rebate status is showing fulfilling. This is the longest time it took for a staples rebate. More than 10 weeks since I mailed it.
 
This is Bull Sh*t.

I'm looking at the Staples Rebate form and it says:

"To Receive Rebate":
1. Print and Fill out form
2. Include UPC and sales receipt
3. Mail to ______

It does not ask for any s/n until you get to the bottom of the form. These bast*rds are using a flawed form and are denying rebates based on their own incompetence. It's time to cry foul.

Anyone know a good way to bitch and to whom. The rebate center? Staples Cust service? Call to their CEO's office?

I threw away the box after I sent in the UPC so have no way of resurecting the serial number label.

You gotta always read the fine print on rebate forms.
 
Has anyone received the $20 rebate from Amazon Dlink DI-711 wireless router?
I remember they have a website to check the status, but I lost the rebate form. Does any one have a copy of the rebate form?
 
But this is crap when the fine print contradicts the big print in order to decieve the consumer.
