Just got the checks for the Peachtree Accounting & Sandisk 128MB CompactFlash rebates from Staples. Very quick turnaround time, 4 weeks early :Q

Looks like the Audiovox Maestro Staples/Parago rebate, which is due 6/19, won't be coming on time - no check number assigned to it yet, though it has been in processing for 6 weeks or so. Sigh - phone call to Parago tomorow.

Well my $5o rebate for the Rio 600 MP3 player finally arrived. So it was "free".
Well after stumbling on this forum just before Black Friday last year I've been on a wild rebate ride.
I've submitted 49 rebate requests totaling $1041 dollars and so far 47 of the have arrived for a total of $1011. The last $30 are for a $25 rebate for a "free" modem from Fry's that have been "Approved" and a $5 Fuji CD-R rebate which they say they will mail out.
But I think I might have hit rebate burnout. The continual tracking of these and the need to prod some of the fullfillment companies along have become tiresome. 🙁

Yes... both PCTV Pro cards were on the same receipt. I guess if my friend wants a rebate next time, he better purchase it separately ;-)

$10 Fuji CDR rebate from Best Buy, 5/5/02. A little longer than the 20 days they claim on their rebate web site (www.myrewards.info) but still no bad.

Yes. I had already done one 785epx rebate for my own printer last year (great printer BTW). Then in March, I realized that the the wording on the rebate form seemed to indicate that there was no limit on number of purchases. Epson confirmed that there was no limit, so I dug up all of the camera receipts and UPCs that I had kept since last August (the beginning of the rebate period), and purchased a 785epx printer to go with each of those cameras. Fortunately, the Staples rep agreed to place 10 separate and identical orders for me, and applied a $40 off $200 to each one (I explained to her exactly what I was doing, placing orders for 4 pre-existing Staples accounts, and that I didn't want to violate any Staples policy), making each printer $59.99AR 🙂 They all sold like hotcakes on Ebay (actually, 8 of the 10 sold privately :Q) for $169.99 shipped...easily could have sold 10 more.

Off-topic, but...nope...anything I made for the past 1.5 years from Ebay went towards reducing a massive debt that was hanging over my life for 7+ years. Finally finished paying it off on May 10th, and wound down my Ebaying and rebate activities, to almost nothing now...too much w**k (Justin is allergic to w**k) :Q

Received $10 check for CUSA 4-port USB hub.
Purchased hub 3/15/02. Mailed out MIR on 3/18. TCA said I would receive it on 6/22.
Received it yesterday 6/17. 12 week turnaround. Has got to be some kind of record with TCA.

Received a 10 rebate from Fry's for a Conair phone in less than a month. Free phone after rebate.
Also received a 10 rebate on a Magic Chef microwave oven from Fry's. Around 10 weeks.
Both rebates came from express group. They did a much better job than my last one, which was a 30 rebate on a Maxtor drive from OD. Around 4-5 months.

Mine just changed status today. I checked it at 9:00AM and it hadn't been approved yet.

Still no word on the I-Micro Webcam for $20, but I am not worried. Staples comes through for me.
HKS and Gr1mlock, I'm in the same boat as you. I sent in my Cendyne 32x CDRW paperwork the same day I received it, and rebateshq.com still says they're awaiting the paperwork. I just sent an email to staples rebate department asking them what the heck is going on? Stupid me, I didn't even keep a copy of the UPC, but I do have cut out of the rest of the back of the CDRW box (including the serial #). I hope it comes through.
I mailed the Staples Cendyne rebate and the APC Battery Backup rebate on the same day - May 24th.
RebatesHQ stated receiving the APC paperwork on May 30th, but the Cendyne paperwork wasn't
received until June 10th. I received the check for the APC on June 15th. I think that was a
record for the fastest turn-around on a rebate for me. Only 22days!!!!! Now if the Cendyne
will only get here.

Haven't received my Staples Maestro rebate either. Mine was approved on 3/29 and it's still in that "will be mailed out in 30 days" mumbo jumbo.
Even TCA right now is doing better than Staples. 🙁

ReelC00L, I had a problem with this rebate too. The 1st thing I can tell you is you sent it to the wrong address. That address wasn't handling the rebates anymore but MS said all rebates would be forwarded to the correct addy (P.O. Box 5221, Clifton, NJ 07015). They said it may delay the processing but it would get to the correct processing center. I actually found out about the correct address in this thread. Someone had posted about where to send it. I did send mine to the correct addy and still had problems.
I sent mine on 2-21 and started calling the end of March because I still hadn't been notified that they rec'd my forms. Some worthless csr told me it was in the system but kept referring to a previous rebate I had sent in (Office Keyboard). I told her that wasn't what I was calling about then suddenly she says "Oh here it is, they're still working on it". I called back on 4-10 and spoke with a different csr and he told me nothing was in the system. I then told him of my previous conversation and asked why I was lied to. He couldn't answer but asked me to fax all my copies in and escalated my case. I was manually cut a check and rec'd it on 5-6. The real kicker is on 6-3 I rec'd the actual rebate check from MS and I cashed that sucker too!
I'd suggest you call them. The number on the rebate form is 800-622-4445. Be sure and get the names of the people you speak to in case one of them lies to you too.
