Visiontek has a tedious phone system regarding order status.
I tried to call the whole day, it kept giving me a busy signal.
When I called them 1 minute after 5:00pm eastern time, there is a auto response of the working hour is 9-5.
I feel like i am getting scammed. I sent mine a couple days after thanksgiving, now it still hasn't arrived.
 
my mom's Philips 8x4x32 $40 showed but when I check on my sister's...not there at all in Philips' system..bleh..tired of Philips. Got an email from the other "if you don't hassle'm you won't get it " bunch at HiVal/DigitalResearch/I O Magic saying my $15 from that OM 12xDVDRom is in the mail. ( Thanks Lanyap ! ) Finally...guess its time to hassle BB about my Crucial lousy $10 submission(s )😉 .

Staples Rebate site is showing my rebate received and my check will ship as soon as it is done processing .
Geeze , 2 months ago I sent it in . I guess it could be worse . I could care less if it took 4 months to get the money but atleast let me know you received my mail 🙁 🙁
Thats what I was pitching a fit about , they "lost" the mail . I guess they finally found it .
 
I have a question about rebatestatus.com I sent in 2 rebates at the same time. One of them started showing up on rebatestatus.com a couple of weeks ago, but no sign yet of the other one (which is a Western Digital rebate). Do rebates from all companies eventually show up there?

Companies sure are getting bad about extending mailing dates of rebates. Sent in a $30 rebate for an ATI Rage Pro card from Office Depot in December. Mailed the rebate on 12/24. Just checked the status of my rebate on wheresmyrebate.com and they said it was approved but the estimated mail date is 4/27. Five frickin months from the date I mailed it to them.

Bunch of crooks.
 
ok, these rebate companies are idiots. my bb geforce 3 ti 200 says it was denied and the reason was cause of same receipts or some crap. my pny $10 rebate said it wasnt postmarked on time. i know i sent it out before the date. so for the best buy rebate i call 1-800-390-2344 and who do i call to get my $10 pny cd-r rebate?

I called this morning (3/7) and my check went out 3/4....still no sign online...

OBTW, the program number was printed wrong on my rebate form (V8602) - should have been Y8602. Knowing them, that was probably the holdup! ;-)

 
Best Buy Visiontek GF 3 TI200

Was approved and anticipated mail date = 2/17/02.

Called a few days after, they said that stuff about "extending processing time frame."

I politely mentioned that the reabte promised 8-10 weeks, i had been waiting 12. teh rep said they'd expedite, going out in mail next day.....got it 4 or 5 business days later.

finally got the $19.99 CC Belkin USB hub rebate in the mail today.
This from 11/23, so thats a 3.5 month turnaround--soo slow

well, at least it came
 
I'm still waiting for my Belkin USB hubs rebate as well, although when I called last week they told me it was in the "final stages" of processing. What's really been unpleasant about this is that the rebates are not showing up on the CC rebate site. Oh well, I guess the bottom line is 2 free USB hubs, and that makes it all worthwhile, since I need them.

OMG! The $40 rebate for my OD Maxtor 20 gig hard drive showed up in the mail today. Of course, this is only after they lost all my paperwork and I had to fax copies of everything back on February 13th.

Got mine last week. Est check date was 2/6 and as usual I had to call New Rochelle and "remind" them it was overdue before they cut the check. If your est check date has passed, call them and you should get your check within a week.🙂
 
Gee I only have $840.96 dollars in outstanding rebates.🙁

New question, has anyone who has sent a rebate to TCA since January 1st seen it listed on their website (wheresmyrebate). Not a single rebate I have submitted since then has even appeared yet.

In December, I had almost $4,000.00 in outstanding personal rebates, plus Ebates, plus over $1,500.00 between BVG and Buyer Assurance. $1,200.00 of those rebates were from Compaq alone - I was just praying they wouldn't go bankrupt :Q

I'm down to $198.00 in overdue rebates (mostly Parago) and $180.00 for 2 recently-submitted rebates. I pretty much stopped the madness after Christmas.

Still waiting 40gb 5400rpm $40 rebate, to make the drive $45
also "my sister" waiting for her $40 rebate on the 20giger making it $35 too.

I have $228 dollars outstanding in rebates. This is out of a total of $1040 since Black Friday. (Oh, that reminds me, I better get to work on my taxes.) Some of the remaining ones are pretty recent such as the $50 rebate for the Best Buy "Free" RIO 600 MP3 player.

But I think I'm getting rebate burn-out. 🙂
