Back when the promotion was in progress, I had read that a live online Eshop rep had stated that you can 'open another account and get more than $100.00' that way, but I didn't want to press my luck...so mom and dad and I all have MSN Passport accounts now...this is 100% within MSN's rules. *IF* they had stated 'max. $100 per household', that would have been a different story.

 
Got my $20 Columbia 2-pack FRS radio CompUSA rebate. Bought them 11/18/01; got the "approved" email sometime in December; check in hand 2/23/02
 
And just also just got (2/25/02) $10 Fuji rebate for the Best Buy 2x50 pack CDR from 2/3/02. Their eBates online rebate system sure is fast. These were the Taiyo Yuden discs.

received a postcard saying I was beyond the promo date. called and explained to the csr that OD backordered me and did not send the mem till several weeks after I ordered it. finally convinced him to put me back into "good" status. that was two weeks ago (mid-Feb).
 
Anyone get the Belkin Router $25 rebate from Dell/Belkin. It is overdue by a couple of weeks. I e-mailed an inquiry to Belkin and they referred me to Dell, who I haven't called yet because I hate calling 1-800 number regarding rebates. I much prefer e-mail.
 
I recieved my $10 rebate portion of the TDK 50 pack of cd-rs bought at CC on 1/18. I am now just waiting for the $15 MIR portion from CC.

I was finally able to talk to a live person...the UPC is indeed different on the product that I bought (PNY 256 megs PC133 with Norton Anti-virus) than what was written on the rebate receipt. I think OD made a mistake on this one...because the UPC code I sent was exactly fm the PNY memory that I got when their printer spewed out the rebate form. The actual product upc was 751492214146 while the rebate coupon had 075149221414 written on it...the difference was that there was no zero in the beginning of the actual UPC and instead had #6 at the end. I was able to have my rebate reinstated and hope to get it in 4-6 weeks fm now.

I have a very general question about the procedure for submitting rebates, so I guess it might make sense to post that question here.

I'm getting ready to send in my rebate, but I was wondering about one thing. The rebate form says to write in the UPC number. Does that number include the number at the beginning and at the end, or just the numbers in-between those "bracketing" numbers?

Does anyone know?

Paul - According to the CSRs at New Rochelle, all their systems were down last week. Yeh right! Anyway, don't waste your dime calling them with a toll call. Instead, call their generic toll free number at 1-800-390-2344. You can talk to a csr about any New Rochelle aka wheresmyrebate.com processed rebate through this number. You may have to try several times before you actually get through, but at least you are not spending money on the call
 
Got the $80 rebate on the WD 80 gig hd at office max with the staples $30 off $200 coupon. I lurk more than post, and this is the 1st hot deal I've gotten in on from Anandtech. Thanks anandtech!
 
has anyone gotten their visiontek geforce 3 ti 200 rebate for $50? i sent out the rebate form in december and still have not gotten my rebate.
 
So I am not the only one struggling with the nefastus Express Group..... :|

I checked their site once, I found the status as rejected, comments: Illegible or incomplete form, incomplete documentation, postmarked before or after the date...... :|

I will go to OD sometime this week to get the rebate from them. I got also the 40 GB, 7200 RPM maxtor.
 
Has anyone gotten their Rio 600 $50 rebate resolved yet? I called BestBuy earlier but was told to call 1 877 776 4005, but I haven't been able to get through to them yet. If someone has gotten this fixed please LMK how you did it, thanks! 🙂
 
Getting jammed by Wheresmyrebate. I decided to finally check their site and I have 2 entries!!! If I look at the status it says:

SAME RECEIPT WAS USED BY MORE THAN ONE CUSTOMER -- DENIED

WTF? I didn't share receipts with anybody else. Is this because I bought it before Thanksgiving, brought back receipt and pricematched with my original? This doesn't seem right. Any ideas on what to try or am I SOL? Thanks

That BestBuy GF3 TI 200 rebate is really starting to give me a case of the red azz.

www.wheresmyrebate.com indicates an approval and anticipated mail date of 2/17/02.

Still waiting...Plan to begin phone bombing the CSR's tomorrow...will post here again with their stall tactics.
 
I had two of the Best Buy Ti 200 $50 rebates that listed "due to ship on 2-3-01". Well I called today and read them the riot act and they said the checks will go out tommorrow. The squeeky wheel gets the oil.
 
I *FINALLY* got my $50 GF3 rebate from the BB Black Friday Deal. Mine was "scheduled" to be mailed on 2/17/02. When 2/24 rolled around, I called up and bitched. I was informed that the check would go out within 24 hours. I received it today. As other people have stated, a quick phone call seems to get the ball rolling.
