Did everyone except me already receive their Staples XP $200 rebate? I called and they said they have not record receiving my rebate request. I just faxed over copies of everything. I mailed in my original request in early November. Do I have to do registered overnight mail for every stinking rebate?

Nope. Just keep meticulous recorrds and copies of everything, as you have done with this rebate. I have never sent any rebate certified, registered, or any other special way, and I have done a ton of them...usually for high dollar amounts, up to $200. Once in a while, I have an issue similar to yours, and it's easy enough to have it corrected with copies. Just part of the game.

I had the same problem. I mailed in November, never received. I had to fax everything again. After faxing it took up to 2 weeks for all of them to show up. That was about the middle of December. Finally got the $200 one today! Now I can upgrade again. And don't you love the "FREE" camera?
 
Anyone get Samsung monitor rebates? I tried to contact www.wheresmyrabte.com but no answer on e-mail and over an HOUR wait on a long distance toll call (thank God it is free for me using my phone plan).

Its been almost 16 weeks and no response.

Call their toll free number next time 800-390-2344. Don't respond to any of the phone prompts and just wait for a CSR.

HeHe your kidding right ? A New Rochelle Rebate processed in only six weeks. It generally takes New Rochelle six weeks to acknowledge receipt of your rebate . Once they acknoledge receipt of your rebate they automatically give themselves the full 8-12 weeks for processing your rebate after that despite the fact that 4-6 weeks have already elapsed. Check back in March!

No, but I better not get screwed on this rebate. Those discs are garbage. Granted, I was using the infamous Philips 8X drive, but of 35 burned, 10 were coasters.

Also, I received the $100 Envision rebate from Black Friday. After Thanksgiving, my local Staples had only a $70 form, so they took off the difference on the spot. Not only that, I was able to use the "free" memory to boost the total to over $150 even though "instant discounts" are not normally allowed when redeeming a coupon.

By the way, I believe almost everybody is getting a rejection on the Staples' Black Friday 128MB SDRAM. I personally spoke to the manager who assured me everything I sent was correct. Therefore, I resubmitted a photocopy with a message stating my talk with Staples. Hopefully, everything will be resolved.
 
Another happy guy here cuz' I finally got my $40 for the Philps 8x CD-RW deal. I will never again buy a Philips product.
 
Received the second of two rebates from the one order from "Black Friday".

Bought from Staples:

20 gig HD
128 Meg Memory
3 20 packs of photo paper

Total of 102 less 20 coupon Net of 82.00
Received 30.00 from HD and
20.00 from Memory

Net out of pocket of 32.00 fro 20 gig hd, memory and photo paper.

Pretty good deal all around for me.

I got a card in the mail this week about the Rio One (Sonic Blue). They said I didnt include the original upc!! I'm positive I doublechecked many times and it was in there. Now I only have copies and the package thats missing the upc. Argh!! What am I going to do now!

I havent received the dlink rebate either.

The rebate processing screwed up the Sonic Rio rebate and initially rejected everyone's rebate for the reason that you stated above. After several people initialy complained, including myself, they corrected the problem and you should now get your rebate. Their solution was to create another rebate request for each person with your original info so each person will have two Rio rebates showing in their system. One rebate will be invalid and the other will be valid. You can check to see if both rebates are entered into their system for you by clicking here

BTW - I received my $50.00 D-Link rebate from the XP promo today 🙂
