I sent in my Staples / XP rebate for the Fuji digital camera package on 11/20/01. I sent it certified mail with return receipt and have not even got back the return receipt card in the mail. I am starting to get concerned. When I do the staples reabte tracking, it only comes up with the free memory rebate.

Hey Fiend, I got the same e-mail about the PNY memory rebate as well.
I cut out the UPC symbol on the box and sent that in.
Maybe it was the barcode on the memory, did anyone else get there money back yet about this deal?
I got this during the black friday sale at Staples.

For anybody else with this problem.....

I called the Staples Rebate Center (as suggested by GetReal) and spoke with a CSR about my problem. I told her I sent in the only UPC there was. She asked me for the UPC code and I gave that to her. She also asked for the SKU, but I didn't see it anywhere except on my copy of the rebate form. To make a long story short, I told them I sent in the right stuff and she told me she would do me a "one time favor" and validate it for me. It showed up as valid on the website within minutes....thanks for the tip GetReal!

I just got my rebate from envision on the EN-910.. Took about 12 weeks..

FYI, be careful.. My check is dated more than a MONTH before I received it and it's in an open/post card format.. The check also has an expiration 2 months from issue (for me that is 1/7). Just don't procrastinate if the check does arrive.

I called the CSR about the $20 rebate for the PNY memory from black friday and he said that the problem has been corrected and i should receive it in a couple of weeks.

I didn't even have to tell them any information except to verify my address and that was it.
Hope I will get my rebate now. thanks again! 😀

anybody have the information or phone number where i can contact the rebate processing center...

last time i called them(a month ago) a lady told me she will mail em out the next day....so i waited..
then i lost my copy of rebate form with their number on it....so now i need to call them again and ask...

can anybody help...i can't find the rebate online anymore

Compusa? Samsung 50 pack of cd's- The rebate check had the the name Zirex on it for this item

Rebate was sent on 9/3 to New Rochelle, NY
 
Got my $50 BB Western Digital 60 gig Black Friday rebate!! No problem using the rebat receipt which showed that I bought in advance and priceadjusted to get the lower price and rebate. 😀

The DR rebate is from IOMagic and will take 6 months unless you call them. I don't do IOMagic rebates anymore but when I did, I waited until the rebate time ended (8 weeks) then called IOMagic. They would release the rebate and start processing it. I usually received a check in a week.<<<

Thanks. I didn't notice that I/O Magic is listed on the rebate form, but sure enough, it is 🙁 I have always avoided I/O Magic, and all Circuit City rebates like The Plague. So far, aside from the Philips CDRW rebate, I have a 100% success rate with rebates...$3,500 of my money is floating out there as we speak 🙂

I do always call at the 8-week mark [actually, the exact date a rebate is due] on any rebate that doesn't come on time. I'm a huge procrasinator, but one thing I never procrasinate on is rebates.

NewJack, and poppagene, yeah I just got my $50 rebate for the Best Buy West Dig. 60 GB drive on black Fri. I thought for sure they would give me a hard time since I had a PRICEMATCH receipt, but no problem, and in record time. Mailed 11-28 and rec. on 12-13. Unbelievable! Every rebate house should operate like that. That rebate house is a new one in Calais, ME, it's all the way up at the Canadian border. I guess with all the cold and snow there's not much to do except fullfill rebates!

Has anyone gotten the rebate for Personal PageBuilder 4, a software bought from Staples in August? The rebate was sent to a Canadian address. I haven't received it.

Not yet, but online status says they mailed mine 12/10. Check your status at www.rebatestatus.com. It's listed under "Multiactive Software". Even though we sent it to Canada the rebate is being handled by CPG out of Pheonix, AZ.
 
Finally Get the staples APC UPS Rebate, 50$.
Apollo 2150U printer 40$, check mailed on 11/30/01, still not received.
PageBuilder 25$, check mailed on 11/30/01, still not received. Need to call them? rebatestatus.com

Like Oleo, I am also dealing with the Apollo 2150U $40.00 rebate right now - I am on the phone with them as I write this. I am in the 12th week of the Apollo rebate stalling process. They assigned a check number 5 weeks ago, and it was supposed to have been sent out 4 weeks ago. Since then, each rep has bullsh*tted me about the date it went out (they now claim 11/30), and now they claim that they had my address entered incorrectly, even though I corrected the slight address error verbally with them 2 months ago, long before the check was allegedly cut. Now they're telling me that since I hadn't received the check, their ONLY option is to start the process over again, which means 6-8 weeks, from the beginning. The 'team leader' claims that "the process is automated and there is no way to cut a check manually." These a**holes are using every stall tactic in the book - don't buy anything with the Apollo name on it, unless you enjoy getting royally screwed.

I am filing a complaint with the FTC today, but does anybody have a contact number for dealing with Apollo rebates, other than the 877-295-4920 number?

Not yet. Mailed mine 17 Oct 2001 to the MEDINA, OH address.
I called 800-531-0039 on 26 Nov. CSR said my rebate was still not in the system and to check back in 4 wks.
