Never bothered replying in this thread before, but I'm so angry right now, I can hardly type. In the past 6 months, I have purchased 3 PNY items with rebates, and every time, I've had my rebate rejected by the processing center for not submitting the rebate in the required time frame. Thing is, I have always submitted in the required time frame, but how to prove it and get my rebates? I'm out $65 in PNY rebates now, and will certainly never purchase a PNY item again. But, how to get my money I am due, and how to convince others to never buy PNY? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dude that sux, I would ask to speak to CSR supervisor and demand them to fax or mail you a copy of the envelope which will show a stamped date on when it was sent to them. If that fails and they do not want to comply ask for the supervisor's boss and keep going up the line til either you hit a dead end or the issue your rebate. Another thing is where did you purchase this ram? BestBuy has always given me cash or instore credit when I do not get a rebate. I bring in my photo copies to them and they sometimes look it up to see if I am lying or not, or just give me the cash/credit. If not BestBuy I am sure that where ever you bought it the manager at the store will give you some kind of credit. I guess before you call back and demand copy of envelope I would go to store manager first and see what they will do for you.

Please let us know what happens either way.

I have never bought PNY and from reading your post probably never will.

Did anyone have a problem with getting a rebate check after purchasing a cell phone? I purchased a SonyEricsson T68I phone on February 28, 2003. Sent out the rebate from on March 5, 2003 and I just checked the website www.sonyericssonrebates.com and they didn't receive my rebate form. I will call their 800 number tomorrow but they said that you need to mail in your rebate form up to 30 days so I am not sure if I can resubmit it.

Pretty much 8 weeks.

So far, I'm very happy with Best Buy rebates. Within the stated time frame and dependable. If only they'd do online tracking for the Calais, ME processing center.

However, I will say Creative proper sucks for rebates. I have another $10 one outstanding with them and they have no clue where it is. Rat bastages!

I just called to check on the Logitech 20% offer that ended on 1/31/03 and they don't have any record of my submission as reported previously by a few Anandtechers. After some digging around by the CSR, she lloke dup the rebate offer 02-52504 and she told me that they are having some technical difficulties with this promotion (I can see the problem of trying to figure out 20% of each rebate submitted).

Looks like Logitech is sticking to us. Has anyone received their 20%?

Anyone get their day after Christmas rebates from Fry's yet? I bought a Soyo 64mb CigarPro USB flash drive that had a $35 rebate. I have been checking the submission on www.rebatestatus.com for weeks now waiting for the check. It said processing until today. Now it has been pulled off the www.rebatestatus.com site and I called them. unfortunately I don't have any of the materials photocopied. I was on vacation that week and just mailed out the materials on the last day. Did anyone also notice they only gave you like 5 days to get the rebate mailed in. sheesh. Well They did give me a verification number at least. Continental promotions group received the materials on 1/4/03 and It has just been processing. They said Soyo actually has to do all the verification. The rebate center just images and enters everything into a database. They are claiming Soyo is backlogged. Does anyone have any suggestions? If anyone has a copy of a blank rebate form they can email me I'd appreciate it.

Also, wonder if Soyo is trying to do rebates by themselves now. Their tigerdirect/Soyo promotion has a maliing address of a P.O. Box in Fremont, CA where Soyo USA Inc is HQ'ed.

Note: The payment was in the form of a Cendyne check, which puzzled the heck outta me, but after reviewing my records, there was only one possible source, my Officemax Verbatim drive. I tracked mine thru www.rebateshq.com. Entered first&last name and zip code and voila, there it was, proof positive.

I posted here about my having gotten a check for $10 instead of the promised full purchase price for TT State, in my case $24.99. I tracked down the Intuit Rebates number (800 605 2652) and after some shenanigans they promised to send me the check for the missing money within 15 business days. Yesterday (day 17 business days) I hadn't received anything and I called them back. They told me to call the same number in two days and they would tell me when to expect the check. That's tomorrow. Hmm.

Finally got one of my Fuji rebates - $6 OM from 2/2/03. They still haven't answered my email from their contact page and their phones are still always busy. I haven't had problems with Fuji in the past but I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth the trouble in the future. Then again, 2 months is the norm for most rebates so I guess it's not all that bad; just not the 20 days they promise.

omg!!..same here, i just got email from them yesterday saying that i didnt get it postmarked in time.....which is bs because i put my submission in the mailbox 9 days before the deadline. i mailed it out like about 3/6 and they showing it arrived 4/1!! I know it does not take 4 weeks for a letter to be delivered....is there any way to appeal this?

It's a Continental Promotions Group promotion (Mesa AZ) but mailed to Niagara Falls NY. No phone call's returned if you leave a message, and the one email I got back was "Yes, expect it in 6-8 weeks." From what date?!? :disgust:

It has been since Feb 16 and I wonder if anyone has gotten any of the VENDOR rebates yet?
I am not too worried about the OM rebates, but the ones for the 2 stacks of CDR's has me worried. They were I/O Magic (Hi-Val) and E3Works.

I haven't received my 20% rebate nor has it shown up on-line. Parago has been pretty good about posting all of my other rebates; however, this one has never shown up. Perhaps I'll call them as well and see what recourse they recommend.

YES! I received my Scotch Pop-up Tape Dispenser $2.99 rebate check the other day. FYI, I submitted my e3works MIR on-line (www.easierrebates.com) and it's listed as "Received."

In reference to I/O Magic (HiVal), IMO those f*ckers are the worst rebate processors on the planet. I had to resubmit a $30 MIR on an I/O Magic CD-RW as they claimed they never received it (I didn't contact them until after 3 or so months). Upon re-submission, I received the check within 3 weeks. For another I/O Magic rebate, it took 14 weeks for them to send me a $5 MIR. I guess I/O Magic eventually delivers; however, you've gotta stay on top of them.
