I noticed that BestBuy rebates mailed to Calais, ME have invalid postal addresses. The Memorex keyboard does and I checked another 5 random rebates from BB and they all had a PO box # that is totally different than the zip+4. Example: PO box 8700, ZIP 04619-8836. USPS says the addresses are invalid. I have to assume the post office somehow gets them (most?) there but what is the undoubtedly sneaky reason for requiring invalid addresses? The Coppell TX rebates from Staples used to have invalid base zip codes which isn't noticable by looking at them but those would get through okay and now they have stopped doing that. What do you think?
