just checking, but do you guys know if this rebate is eventually going to canon? i got in on the i470d at officedepot a while back, and am wondering whether my that rebate and this would both go to canon, and one of them would probably get rejected

It goes to:

OfficeMax January 18th Cash Supplement Offers - A
PO Box 540005
El Paso, TX 88554-0005

I don't know if Canon will be in the mix or not but even if they were, I can't see how either rebate would be rejected. You bought two different products with two different rebates.

So I paid total of about 30+ bucks for a printer which will replace my Free HP 932C printer I got my EStamps.com a few years ago.

I got the same printer from the same deal. It still works but it is slow compares to the newer ones.

Great minds think alike. We had that printer for 3-4 years now? I guess technology improved a lot in these few years.

Thanks "txsdc".

It was OOS when I tried to order it on the phone. So I called around and found a local store that still had two units. The store accepted the phone-in coupon code. Great savings!

No need to find a local store, call their order line: 1-800-283-7674

To those whom have this printer:

I was wondering if mine is "normal", I've never had a Canon before. When I turn it on, it takes quite a while before it "settles" itself. It does a lot of short whirr-clicks, same thing when I turn it off and after a print. It's not a big deal but I even said to myself, "when is this thing going to stop?"

The same thing happends to my printer. The more interesting question is how come the pictures come out so bad?. I have an aging 3 year old HP printer and the photos printed look really good.
A LOT better than the ones printed on the Canon. I hope I do not have to buy Canon paper "ONLY"

Ok, how does this compare to the i470d? I just picked one of those up today at staples for $50 AR... *sigh*

Someone said in another forum that the 475 adds xD card support and I think one other minor detail, can't recall though.
