I have some question about rebate:

- does a rebate form need to be printed in color ? will I still be eligible for the rebate
if I print it in black n white ?

- it says "enclose a copy of the upc barcode label from the retail box"
does this mean I cut off the upc barcode label off the box ? or is it ok if I just copy it
and print it in black n white ?

- it says "enclose a copy of the original invoice" . Is this the invoice we receive in email
the day we place order or is it the one that comes in the box ? should I send the original form
or just make a copy print of it in black n white ?

I have never done rebate before. so I just want to make sure that I won't do small mistake
that will make myself not eligible for rebate. Someone please provide answers in very plain english
I have problem with english. Thank you very much. I appreciate it

- Color doesn't matter
- Hmmm....I haven't seen too many rebates only asking for a "copy" of the UPC. Is this a rebate through the retailer or manufacturer? Manufacturer will probably want the actual UPC cutout from the box.
- Usually both will work. To be safe you may as well just make a copy of the actual delivered invoice and send that. Just make sure it has your name, the purchase date, item number and description, price and possibly form of payment (VISA, paypal, whatever)

Thank you so much for your time

It's a rebate I'd like to get from manufacturer "OCZ" (it's a RAM). OCZ wants the UPC barcode, however The item I got from FRY'S come with two UPC barcode. one is a sticker barcode on the RAM hard plastic packaging and the other is the UPC barcode on the OCZ RAM cardboard. I'm confused

Send the one on the cardboard box. The UPC is the bar code that looks similar to the one you'd find on a box of cereal or anything else from the grocery store.
