Do up a nice friendly business style letter. Include a copy of the bounced check. Also include a copy of your bank statement that documents the $15 fee for the returned check. Tell microsoft how you upset you are, and how you expect more from such a "Reputable" company. Ensure you also include your postage cost (send it certified or atleast return receipt) so you can get re-embursed for it also. Mail it to the following: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399. Also make a Copy and mail to your local Better Business Bureau, but make sure you include the CC on the letter you send to micorsoft. This should fix you up.
