Well, I just installed a new HD (Maxtor 160gb) which will be my primary drive, it's on my RAID controller channel 1
My old primary drive is one IDE1 (IBM)
My old secondary drive is on RAID channel 2
IDE2 is occupied by my CDRW
I'm not going to actually set up a RAID array, I just like having all my drives be masters and this new drive is 133 so I put it on the RAID channel because it is 133 as well.
Now I'm in Win 2000 setup on the CD and I'm partitioning my 160gb drive into 40gb and 120gb partitions. The 40gb partition will be my boot drive.
Problem is, my old IBM is assigned C: and the old secondary drive is showing D: and my new partitions are going to be assigned F: and G:
Is there any way to assign C: and D: to these two new partitions and assign F: ang G: to my old drives?
