Reasons to get SN95P over SN95G5?

Other than an extra hard drive bay and a card reader, is there really any major advantages to the SN95P? I'm having a hard time justifying the extra $100 or so...

Anybody have/had both and care to comment?

well the sn95p has a pci-e slot so lets just say you could buy a x800xl for about 300 opposed to a 6800gt for 400 so you can just make up for the cost right there.

The big difference is the SN95P has a PCIe 16x and 1x slot.
The other one has AGP and regular pci slot.

Personal The lack a regular PCI slot is the killer for me. Also you can't get AIW in pcie.
I like to be able to use my older systems for HTPC, and this system is just not up to par for me.

IF you looking to price savings think aboit get a Aria case and Micro ATX mother board.
New has the ATI 200express board for urder 100 and the Aria case is on sale for $50 ( mail in rebates needed). They make a pretty good combo.

I agree not having a PCI slot is a pain at the moment... However I'm a sucker for the way the system looks (fits right on my desk). Darn thing certainly isn't cheap at ~$400, but being able to store 3 hard drives, card reader, optical drive, and 2 PCI express slots is really cool.

What is the SN95P and when did it get released? Please post a link, is this the ultra or SLI chipset compared to the SN25P with the normal NForce4 chipset?

no, the SB95Pv2 is the P chassis with the intel 925XE chipset.

SN would denote a shuttle with a nVidia chipset
SB would denote a shuttle with an Intel chipset
SK would denote a shuttle with a Via chipset
ST would denote a shuttle with an ATI chipset
SS would denote a shuttle with a SIS chipset

Where's this SN95P?
