I am putting to gether a system and hve gotten stuck on a memory choice, I want to run dual channel, but as I see, most folks are not running memory much faster than 200 anyway,
Question is what should I go for?
I want a pair of 256 as I am quite sure I can't afford a gig.
please help me out with reasoning behind what you suggest as well and where to get it.
I am hoping to end up with a stable mobile xp clock of 2400 or so.
I am wondering if all I need is to run at 200, then why can't I get any variety of memory rated at that speed?, does the quality of the memory effect how high a multipier you are able to set on the cpu?
I mainly play games, do the timings make much difference in game performance, say for instance, 222 vs, 232?
I have lots of questions, if you can help with any fire away
