one word: Dreamcatcher.

theres your explanation for the lowered box office sales. btw, 'Whole 10 Yards'? theyre making a sequel? also, Bruce Almighty looks promising. Carrey back to his comedic roots (not this drama, serious-actor crap). guess he found that out the hard way though.

It's cause no good movies came out last month.

That and I bet people are watching more TV, ie war.

I saw Head of State, just because the conservative radio hate mongers wanted to boycot it, and I still thought it sucked.

<sarcasm>I don't know if anybody's said this yet . . . . but maybe it's because there aren't that many good movies out right now. Plus people are watching the war.</sarcasm>

Agreed. Just wait until May, X2 and Matrix Reloaded!

Yeah, May will pick it up.

X-Men 2 and Matrix 2....

Then a long wait til NOvember for The Matrix: Revolutions, then December for the mother of all movies in cinematic history 😀

There're some good one's in between too:

Bad Boys 2
The Hulk
Johnny English
Dumb and Dumberer
Tomb Raider 2
The Whole 10 Yards
T3

Tomb Raider 2 is a good one? Have you seen the previews? If it's like the first, no good can come from it...

I haven't seen previews, but I liked the first one.

Putting Chris Rock and Bernie Mac in a PG-13 movie is like buying a Playboy without nekkid women.

It just ain't the same thing.

Movies right now = da suck

The CORE?? Oooo... it's not surprising a decent movie has taken in 100mil (Bringing Down the House) against such stiff competition as Basic, and lotsa "old" movies.
