Same here, although recently I have begun experimenting with straps. Sometimes it's so hot in the gym I have to use both though because of the sweat:Q

Man i go without gloves, helps toughen up your grip. The calluses on your hand do look pretty bad at times, but im proud of um, and when you do your pullups dont wrap your thumb around the bar either, toughen your grip u punks,
