My system is in spec for the most part. I also have a couple of optical drives. My fortron had been giving me pretty low volts for a while, so I decided to open it up and adjust the pots. I did, and I brough them to about stock, so the 5v was at 5.05-5.1 and the 12v was at 12. It was working fine, so I decided to clean up a few more things while I was at it. I took off my xp-90 and replaced the compound, and did the same for my video card cooler. I also added a dvd drive, only had one before. I also added a fan controller, because the fan I was using for the xp-90 was pretty loud, and 55cfm seemed like overkill, I had the fan running at around 2000rpm, and I believe that it was still moving a fair amount of air, because it is a Sanyo Denki and has good static pressure. So I booted up, and it was running great. Using atitool and clockgen, I got up to the speeds that have been stable and fine for a few weeks now, and started playing CS: Source. After about 20 minutes, it shut off completely. Now I cant turn it on at all, it sometime it gives a little blip of starting, but usually nothing at all, no sort of response.

My first thought is that it is the CPU. I had it running at 1.63-1.64 vcore, and thought maybe the xp-90 wasnt cooling right, possibly being the new fan, although I feel certain it shouldnt have been that, because I set it carefully, and it should have been plenty cool, even with reduced airflow.

My second guess is the power supply, somehow became unstable under load with the new pot settings, but I have heard of tons of people who have adjusted their pots and been completely stable.

I am really worried, and any advice would be greatly appriciated.

Edit: So I just turned it on somehow, it is running and hooked up a multimeter to it, and its reading 13v on the 12v line and 5.6 on the 5v line. I think its time to adjust those pots in the other direction...

Thanks.
