I started watching this show on Hulu and it's pretty funny. Basically this guy's parents sold his soul to the Devil, so when he turned 21, the Devil owns him. The Devil has him work as a bounty hunter returning escaped souls back to Hell. His weird friends help him out and he's trying to win the girl of his dreams all while working at The Work Bench, a sort of Costco-like store.

It reminds me a lot of Chuck with doing a "secret job", the weird friends, and working at a retail store.
 
I just started watching Dead Like Me on Netflix strreaming (also about reapers, but not bounty hunter reapers). It's kind of meh so far though.
 
I liked Reaper, it was creative and funny. Ends on a major cliff hanger though because the show was canceled. 🙁

This is also on my list to watch since lots of people seemed to like it.

What don't you like about it so far?
 
Reaper was awesome. It gets a bit weird at times, and the story is complicated, but definitely worth watching.
 
Reaper was pretty good. Too bad they killed it off after the second season.
Dead like me did something similar. There is a movie out though where they did try to tie up some of the loose ends, though not many.

Funny enough her name is Andy on that show... and one of the male leads is also Sam. WTF kind of coincidence is that unless some guy on WB wrote the show on ABC too.

BTW, Reaper was pretty corny to me... it was way too odd for my tastes.

I don't dislike it, I'm just not feeling a strong urge to watch episodes 3-on.

The setup is somewhat interesting and the characters are decent, but the reapers in Dead Like Me don't really do anything, at least so far. Without spoilering it the job description seems a little bit dull and not very challenging.

In Reaper, so far he has returned a soul every episode, and he usually makes 2 attempts at it trying to figure out how to trap the soul, so there's plenty of action.
 
I just started watching this myself a few days ago after finishing up dead like me and noticed the reaper show was recommended on the hulu page at the end of the last dead like me episode and glad I checked it out.

Just finished season 1 and starting on season 2 and god I love how they did the Devil acting in it. 😀

Was kinda surprised to see Dolores from dead like me in it and unfortunately you see a bit to much of her in a season one episode... /shudder.
