realtek vs microsoft HD audio driver

which do you like better? I had been using the microsoft driver ever since i got my mobo but i decided to try the latest realtek one and the latter sounds inferior imo.

i was thinking about getting X-Fi MB3... is its EAX5.0 HD a perfect replication (quality wise) of how a real XFi would render it in hardware? if not, then what are the differences?

The Microsoft are Generic.and just like the blue pills.if you don't get genuine.you might and up with a stiff leg.

Mostly for the control panel and auto sensing is nice when I'm too lazy to look for the right port.

I doubt you'll find much use for EAX unless you play old games that support it with ALchemy

i do play a lot of old games and that is why i was considering getting it
