realtek softwarebugging me!

need help on how to turn this madness off.

well, everytime i plug in my heaphone jack onto the receiver the realtek software pops out and asks me to to choose what kind of device i plugged in (line in/mic in/heaphone/line out/spdif out). this really gets annoying cause everytime i plug it in and im in the middle of the game it minimizes and my game crashes. any1 that can help will be appreciated.thanks

Not sure if it will work but bring up the RealTek Sound Manager, click on the wrench in the Analog panel and there'll be a checkbox to Enable Auto Pop-up Dialog. Disable that checkbox and see if it does the trick.

hmmm weird. i clicked on the wrench thing and the only checkbox that i have is "mute internal speaker, when rear panel has been set (plug in) to output device".which means if i plug in my headphones my laptop speakers doesnt make sounds. problem still persists.

What driver version are you using?

im using.5.10.0.5506. what about you? i guess i could just re install my driver to match your and get this over with. im using winxp mce btw.
