Hi
I reinstalled my realtek high definition audio drivers and there is no sound now! When i go to the Control-Audio, allmost everything there is impossible to change, like I would have no Sound Card. Are there any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks for any help.

check device manager and verify that the soundcard is installed, then check bios to make sure it's enabled. of both are good, then you have a bad motherboard.

Just do the System Restore to the Restore Point before the installation of these drivers.

Like on Wednesday or Thursday.

Good luck!

Yes. Given that it happened after you changed the driver, it is very likely a driver problem.

WTF, who said that about the mainboard being bad? What a load of crap! Ignore that dude. Listen to the geeky guy.

OK I reinstalled the drivers 4 times and now its somehow working:) I just used different drivers every time. Like Baloo said it was the drivers fault, I looked up on google and I see that a lot of people have the same problem with the Realtek HD Audio:( , I also used the KB888111 patch and I gues it helped too:)
Thanks a lot for all the help;)
(Except the one with the broken MoBo:p)
