Realstorm Raytracing Engine

This relies heavily on the system CPU and probably memory speeds as well. Prescotts do poorly, Athlon 64's do much better and Core CPU's are miles ahead.

Would a physics processor handle calls to this?

With all the eyecandy on it REALLY puts most hardware to shame. The difference between a 3.0GHz FX60 and 3.6GHz E6600 is amazing. I tried it on a 3.0GHz Prescott and it was a slideshow.

I was hoping to try a raytracing application that does use the gpu pixel shaders to do the heavy math instead of the cpu.
