A friend of mine wants to be able to use her DVD drive to watch movies, but all she has is an old 15" (yikes!) Gateway monitor. So I was thinking about setting her up with something along the lines of the Sigma Designs Hollywood+ that I've got in this system. Searching for this card, however, normally turns up the newer Xcard instead. no big deal, and since this one can accelerate MPEG-4, all the better - that old gateway is just too slow for Divx video. But I was curious: can this new Xcard, like my old H+, be rendered Region/Macrovision free? Just wondering.
