REALLY weird phone call at 12:30 in the morning.

So it is 12:30. The phone rings and I'm thinking "wtf?...who can this be" I pick it up and there is some chick on the phone. She is really animated and happy sounding.
She is like "HEY!!! How are you doing?"
Me "uhh... hi. I'm fine how are you?" While desperatly trying to place the voice to no avail.
So she goes on to say stuff like "what have you been up to? How you been doing?" etc.
I answer all the questions then she is like "want to talk to my roomate?"
I said "I guess."
So I talk to her roomate for about 20 minutes about various things, including that we are both taking the same philosophy class next quarter. Then she says "so, how do you know my roomate."
And I said "actually, I have no idea who either of you are."
She is like "haha, I wonder how she got your number."
I say "I have no idea."
So we talk for a while longer and find out she knows some people that I went to high school with, even though I don't (at least I don't think) know her. The conversation ends with a "see you in philosophy next quarter."

I am now confused. How did they get my dorm number? Did they randomly dial it? And by what coincidence does the girls roomate who randomly calls me has the same class as me next quarter and knows people who were in my high school graduating class last year. Weird.
 
Stupid girls playing a stupid trick...When it happens to me, I don't give them the satisfaction of me being weirded out...and that, in turn, weirds *them* out 😕
 
Very wierd indeed. This requires investigation. Send me their number and some pics and I'll get to the bottom of this for you. 😉

Lol right. I am actually doing some investigating. Trying to find the list of all people who went to my high school and went on to Oregon State. Maybe a full name and picture if available will jog my memory.

Thought about that kind of thing... but what if this is some girl that I really DON'T want over? Better I think to see what she is like in class (new quarter starts in 2 weeks so that is pretty quick here).
 
Also, this phone call was really suprising because I never get callls from girls. I almost dropped the phone from my hand in shock to hear a female voice on the other end of the line :Q

That is what I thought at first. But I know all the girls who have my room number (I've never given it out randomly at parties or anything), and (unless they changed their voices and were able to keep their voices changed for a 25 minute conversation) they didn't sound like anyone I knew.
