really stupid start menu question

Hey all -

I was fooling around with the starmenu moving things around when I accidentally deleted the Windows Update link that used to be on top.

For various reasons I really liked having it there (i use firefox and that was always a quick way to either get to windows update or to load up a IE window)

I have NO idea how to get it back. Can anybody shed some light on this dumb problem?

Go to "C:\WINDOWS\system32\wupdmgr.exe" and make a shortcut of the .exe

Then drag it back to the start menu 🙂

Yay! thank you SO much. Just one of those things I got used to. I was gonna use a IE shortcut edited to just go to windowsupdate.com but i missed having the proper windows update icon.
