the meaning of this thread is that the media misuses the word troop

PSA MEDIA troop =/= individual soldier

Weak rant, especially considering in the definition it says:

2. troops Military units; soldiers.

So if troops is soldiers, wouldn't a troop be a soldier?

Morley?! or the old guy (forgive me i had a few :beer:s this weekend) that does the opinion peices at the end? man, that show is golden. i think it's one of my favourite longest-running shows out there. then again... last night my favourite watching was on Ontario Public TV - a show about some young guys growing up in the Middle East. it was some crazy sh!t. TVO - "television that matters"... ;)
