REALLY slow video...

I have a computer with a SiS 5597/5598 video onboard, and it will barely run Rainbow6, and Midtown Madness and Need for Speed III will not run (you can get into the game, but can't actually play (ie, setup your car and what not, but it'll never actually play the game)) any ideas?

I don't know a thing about SiS (I'm an nVidia man myself) so was just wondering if anyone knows anything about this chipset.. is it worth using for games, will it work period (not necesarilly well, just as long as it works), or should i just get a new card for it? And if it needs a new card, since the video is onboard, how do you disable that onboard video so that the motherboard will use the new video card?
