Really really relly need your help

I really need quick response to this because i leave the country in 1 hour.

I recieved a laptop, and a ram chip of 512. I opened the back of it up, i see the slot.. but there are these 2 metal arms taht are in my way to put it in, how do i make them stay away and once i put it in, put them back in place?

Lift? i might break them. So basically the ram chip slides underneath the 2 arms?

insert the chip on an angle, apply pressure downward and the arms will snap into place (two indentations on either side of the chip) they're springs, that's all.
