Really Pissed off!

I'm pissed off.

Not towards any of the regular members here, but I was given an ultimatum recently in the forums lately and I'm kinda' pissed off about it. They told me to not mention any names or the m word, or I'm out for good! So I'm not going to do that for my sake.

I exchanged some mean words in the past with (you know who, if you know my past) but I'm a really a good guy. He's gotten me banned 3 times minimum........... He loves Fox news btw LOL (Oh Baby)

Now if I get banned for this, I really hope at least one of you would fight for me to keep me in.......... :laugh: I just think P&N should be left/right for the people of this forum, and Mods should not interfere in it and keep thier long noses out of it! PERIOD!

If any of you think I'm a fucking wimp, I'm NOT! I'm a 35yr old man standing up for my rights in the forum and I'm about to get perma-banned. It's being mediated by a good (AWESOME) guy.

It's just not going to work! Got one mod on my tail getting me banned, and me thinking how to get out of it!

Been here for over 8 years. I have zero say? If a few violations equal my exit?

If the mod was after you, a PM to the Anandtech Moderator account in a calm and collected manner would get the situation reviewed.

If we all (as a mod panel) decide it's not that mod, well then you need to look in the mirror and either stay out of P&N or take a break from AT forums as a whole until you review that look in the mirror and find the problem.

After reviewing your profile notes, I see that MANY mods have asked you to refrain from your callouts yet you persist. That tells me that the problem lies with the person in the mirror you see every morning.

Next time that particular mod replies in a thread, IGNORE THEM. Seems simple enough to me.

When you question the way the forums are moderated, you do not do so publicly. You contact Anandtech Moderator, or pm Derek.

Feel free to continue to press your argument, but do it appropriately. Stop trying to make this a public struggle. You may get some attention for a short term, but I assure you it will be short term.

Rio Rebel has stated the case clearly. Consider that if the intent was to ban you, you wouldn't be posting your complaint. Just move on and participate appropriately in the forums as Rio Rebel defines then you won't have any problems. If you intend to be a martyr and bait, then that's on you. It's your choice.

But as the risk of needlessly stating the already well-known might I add that when swapping posts/replies with a moderator acting in his his/her persona as a 'regular member' it's a good idea not to mention their moderator status. That way there can never be any issue of 'moderator call-outs'.

Just don't bring it up and it'll never be a problem.
