Have your parents rent a car trailor and tow it up for you. Probably a lot cheaper than shipping it.

Fun cars, but spendy to keep running. :(

Nice ride!
My sister has a 62 TR4 which is in the garage behind the TR3. Only thing the TR4 needs is a new paint job since we stripped off the job Maaco did. I will never use Maaco again in my life.

Read the fvcking thread before you post asshat. I stated that I was unsure if the car would make it, and others have been helpful in providing information on shipping services.

I started the thread seeking opinions and information, and you, as usual, have to take your fianceless ass and crap in a thread.

Don't you think it is completely assholish to bring his fiance into a completely unrelated thread? That is completely a low blow and a new low, even for ATOT.

Find someone with a trailer and a truck. They can be rented if nobody you know has one or is willing to help you.

Getting it shipped will certainly cost quite a bit.

Your assholeness once again rears its blatently obvious head, full with all of your angst that reverberates in every single post your make. It seems like a blatently obvious answer to me, like notfred said, and I've said it before and I'll say it again, you have a little problem with trying to outdo everyone at everything and it's pathetic and sickening. Grow up. Not to mention bringing up their breakup in this, another pathetic little attention-whoring thread, one of many that you seem to be starting every day, is completley uncalled for and makes you seem like more of an asshole (if that is even possible).
He's not bragging about his car at all. Its not his house. How is that outdoing things? He wants to a car to him and he posted a pic because he knew people would be asking for a pic no matter what kind of a car it was.

Attention whoring thread? As stated earlier I was seeking assistance with a problem I have. Take the picture as you wish, but it is the only picture I have available to me since I am over 1000 miles away and I found it on my brother's webspace. Want me to crop the house out?

As I have stated before, stop taking the damn internet so seriously.

beer and notfred, both incredibly poor at tact and gracefulness not to mention their extremely poor attitude to other members.

Minendo, ignore these ignoramuses.

OK fine, I admit, I should have read the op. But it was still assholish to bring his fiance into this thread regardless. That is a low blow. I will edit my OP accordingly

Uh.... whats to question.
Time to hire a shipper.
theres dozens and dozens of them online.

I had my 65' ford F250 shipped on flat bed from CA to WI for $750
Door step to doorstep. Truck was 150Miles north of LA, they drove up and snagged it, loaded it on flat bed and had it in WI 2 days later. I admit they didnt drop it off on my doorstep, as the guy called me and asked if I could meet him on the interstate as it was going to be a bitch to drop it off at my house (and it would have). I had no problem doing that...

I could imagine the mileage/fuel costs! :Q

Why not just borrow your dad's pickup and tow it up yourself? :)

If you don't want to see the car abused, I wouldn't ship it.

I'm sure there are lots of reputable shipping companies out there for cars - but there are lots of shady ones as well. I have heard dozens of crazy stories about the things that happened to people's shipped cars. (including the guy whose car was "lost" for a month and then showed up with thousands of dollars of repair work done to it)

I say take a few days off and drive it... the $700 will pay for gas and hotels along the way, just make a fun road trip out of it.

Or you could have your parents disassemble the car and send it piece by piece through USPS over the course of a year.

I have to agree with this one.. It would be an experience... only drive it a little at a time, checking it out everytime you get to a hotel... Not abusing it is a must (duh)

I don't know if it would make the ride back, but you could get a friend to drive you ther ein his car and then come back in your own cars.

I haven't read the thread so I don't know if this has already been said

We've shipped the cars before, but not at our expense. Since my dad was being relocated, the company paid for whatever we wanted. They were shipped on their own 18 wheeler, but I doubt I could afford the service we got last time.

Personally, I'd rent a car trailer. It cost me about $70 to rent one for one day, but I kinda doubt you'll be able to do that 1000 mile round trip in 24 hours :D (or if you can, tickets will cost more than $70) but it's cheaper than hiring professionals. It takes up your time, your gas and your hauling vehicle, but may work for you.
