I dl the photo and uploaded it to yahoo photos,maybe u can use it to ask the CSR in your area to do PM if there is no such a policy in your OfficeMax's.

OK, this does seem to be local only 🙁 I'm surprised they don't advertise it more, however! This Saturday, BB will have a 100GB WD 7200rpm drive on sale for $199, it might be a good idea to go to OM, buy it there and then get 15% difference back.
 
Purchase must be made first then pricematch is applied, if it is applied. I tried to pm a camera against the one staples was selling. Staples added $50 to the price becuase they offered free overnight shipping, the other guy didnt. Buy.com does a similar pm in that you have to buy it first and maybe they will pm it after.

Officemax 115% only applies to office super stores like Staples.. bah
 
hmmm can't use 115% with new egg because they are not an office superstore 🙁 unless the managers and employees are of below average mentality, which most of them are, then it will work

Both the Staples and Office Depot stores where I once lived (central FL), had 155% price matching policies. Anyone in that area know if they still do?

That was during Internet boom in 1999. They no longer offer this incredibly awesome way of losing money 😀

It was 155% of the difference I believe. They got raped with that one. It's fine when it's $100 item and only $10 difference, but when there is a $75-$100 difference on a $200 item it puts them in the red awefully fast. I hope it comes back. I could use a few good local deals.

The first line of the "back page" details say they will pm any store. I wonder if that includes the Internet?

I found the D-Link 713P for $158 on the web, but $219 at OM. I think I'll stop by and ask them if they'll pm it just to see.

don't forget they also ACCEPT COMPETITORS COUPONS!! officemax is a pretty great place. they have a store right near where i work so its more convenient than office depot. no staples in miami though, gotta drive 1.5hrs north if you need a staples, which is gay. =((

115% Low Price Guarantee


If you find a lower price at any office product superstore on a new identical item, just show us the lower price when you buy the item at OfficeMax or within 14 days after your OfficeMax purchase and we'll give you 115% of the difference.

Our 14-day price-match guarantee is good on everything from office supplies to the latest technology. The item must be in stock and available for purchase at that price from a company located in the U.S.

If you find a lower price in an OfficeMax store, OfficeMax catalog or at OfficeMax.com, we will match the lower price. The additional 15% of the price difference does not apply.

The item must be identical. For example, it must have the same U.S. manufacturer's warranty. It must also have the same model number and contain the same components. As another example, for pagers and wireless phones, the service plan, service provider and other terms must be the same.

OfficeMax reserves the right to verify another company's product availability and price before issuing a price match guarantee.

Available coupons and rebates will be deducted from the OfficeMax price to come up with a new OfficeMax price when calculating the price match. For example, if you buy an item from us for $100 and we offer a $10 rebate, the net price is $90. If the item is available from another company for $90 or more, there will be no price match. Another example would be if you buy an item from us for $139 and you have a $30 coupon; the net price is $109. If the item is available from another company for $105 the price match will be for $4.60 (115% of the difference).

Shipping and handling charges are included. When comparing our price to another company's delivery price, the equivalent shipping and handling charges will be included. For example, if you buy an item from us for $100, with free overnight delivery, and the item is available from another company for $90 with overnight shipping and handling charges of $7, then the difference is $3. If another company offers a product that comes with a free or discounted item and OfficeMax does not carry the free or discounted item, there will be no price match. For example, if another company offers a free product with the purchase of a printer, and the OfficeMax price is equal to the company's price for the printer, there will be no price match if OfficeMax does not carry the free product being offered.

We may limit the quantity of an item that may be price-matched. For example, if the other company limits the number you may buy, we may also limit the number. In addition, OfficeMax reserves the right to limit quantities sold to a customer.

We price match almost everything. We don't price match products and services provided by third party representatives in our stores or Web site (for example, tax preparation, payroll services and corporate logos), custom products, OfficeMax.com Specialty Shops items, OfficeMax.com Business Services, items sold at local or special events (e.g., grand opening, anniversary or liquidation sales) or products sold on Internet auction sites. We also don't price match taxes or typographical errors.
