I got the case Kroger mentioned from SavingXoom.com for around $60 shipped including a 400W PS. I like it, it's not the greatest but it's easy to take apart & doesn't look half bad.

I need a really cheap ATX case for the backup system I'm building & found this little guy from
Aaronix Express for $29 shipped. Once again, not the best & PS may be a risk but hard to beat the price. They also have 2 other cases with different style faces for the same price. Search for "price watch" on the site.

Hmm, I bought about 4 of these small cases from Aaronix, and yes they are small, but they are large enough to fit
bigg ass Abit KT7-RAID without any problem. And they are quite good lookin too, kids love it...

I ordered that case from Aaronix this afternoon & already received a UPS tracking #. So far so good.

I returned a bad 300w PSU to the Geeks over Christmas. They were out of stock on that model, so they sent me a 400w unit as a replacement. No problems except it took a few weeks. In the meantime I had to buy a 250w temporary fromCompUSA. So no real complaints about the Geeks' service.

Aaronix is running a special on that case, you can get it for 5.99. I upgraded to 300W AMD PS, totalled with shipping is $34.98 each (shipping was more than twice the cost of the case).

But at Sofistic, you get a 400W PS and the total comes to just over $32 each shipped, a much better deal imo.

<< who cares about the cases - check this thing out (from the page):

This is the coolest little useless thing Ive ever seen. Anyone know if these are sold B&M anywhere?
>>

I've never seen them b&m or anywhere for that matter, that is one of the silliest ideas I've ever seen. 8 CD storage for $15.99, if you got that kinda money to burn well... send me some! :) I mean you can get 100 blank CD's for like $3 this week, and you are gonna pay $208 to store them if you buy enough of those to put them in heheheh. I do agree that it IS useless though.

Almost every company out there overcharges for shipping cases. I shipped a whole heavy computer, with everything inside including CD, hard drive, keyboard and mouse. This was a heavy case, not like the lightweight Geeks cases. Total UPS ground from Seattle to CA was around $15.

I would be a bit cautious with some really inexpensive cases. If the power supply fails it could take out number of expensive components, including your motherboard. So a cheap case can cost you more down the road.

But, as seen in the posts above, many people have had great luck with inexpensive cases.

A friend of mine bought an ATI 8500 vid card from them. Paid FKG $16.95 shipping ground. They shipped it 5 days after the order was placed Took 4 days to get it. What do you get for my $16.95 shipping. They taped the hell out of the retail box and put a shipping label on the side of the retail box. No packing, no nothing they shipped it in the Box it comes it., I
