ok, i've been running seti@home for a while (as a part of team anandtech
) and haven't really thought of trying to get it to perform quicker or anything, i just have it run on startup and let it do its thing, checking stats once in a while. now that i see my work unit totals increasing, i'm more interested in getting faster times. i just downloaded the command line client (i have been using the gui version) because it's supposed to be faster. are there any tweaks that can be made to this client? how do i set it up to run on startup and show me its progress? what is the deal with seti driver? how can i see the work unit times over the last X amount of workunits? i have a cable modem and the computer runs 24/7, how do i set it to automatically get a new wprk unit when it needs one?
as you can see, basic questions...but still unknown to me
