Realistic city driving game?

I got Midnight GT with my Geforce card, liked it but it was too lacking in features.

Any other PC games around which lets you race with realistic physics in a city environment? With time trial / practise and race modes?

Midtown Madness 1/2 are about the only ones that actually put you in a city. Driver I suppose does too. So those are two options you could look into.

hehee man he said "with realistic physics" Midtown Madness I & II are ultra arcade racers. Driver has much better (almost too good infact) physics. As for a "driving simulator" I'm sure some exist but I don't know where. While it's not super realistic Need For Speed 5 is pretty damn good. Excellent graphics & really tight controls. But it's not a city envoirment, my bad. Midtown Madness definitely is a city racer, if you can put up with fast pase and loose controlls you might like it.

Wait for grand theft auto. It's really cool. You can walk around the city, hijack any car. Hijack a taxi and it turns into crazy taxi, hijack a police car and it turns into hot pursuit. You can also walk around and shoot/clob/beatup anyone you see! If you get too crazy they send the army with tanks and all to get you! You can even drive around and hire HOs!! 😛

Magicthyse, I would have to agree w/ RedRooster, MM 1&2 is the best when it comes down to "city" situations 🙂

I forgot, a few years ago Sierra made a game called Driving Instructor, or something like that. If you want realism, it sounded pretty real, it was to teach drivers how to drive in a city. Doubt the graphics would blow you away though. 😉
