Real Women Have Curves

I can't hold my rant in any longer. Have any of you seen the ads for this movie on HBO? Its about a fat girl trying to persuade her fat mother that its ok to be fat, that she likes the way she looks, and that "real women" have curves. Too bad her curves are closer to straight lines (removed "huge ball of fat statement since HotChic so graciously pointed how wrong I was). When we (guys) talk about curves, we mean Selma Hayek, not this..

Well there's something to be said for having a positive self-perception of oneself regardless of bodytype, IMO.

That having been said, I hate ugly chicks who think they're hot . . . both physically AND otherwise (sometimes the hottest chick can be ugly when they open thir mouths):

It's just a balance between the two extremes, IMO.

On a side note, I think I saw that movie a while back ago...or at least one scene of the movie. It was where that girl was at her mothers work, which was like a bunch of hispanic ladies sewing clothes and stuff. Anyways, they all ended up stripping down into their underwear because they weren't embarrassed about their bodytype

maybe 20-35 pounds overweight, and they have a cute face but a slight gut. you wouldn't consider this person?

for example, the girl from this movie. she is not that fat.

You haven't seen her in the underwear scene. Id say as long as she didn't weigh more than 135-140 Id be ok. Higher than that she is either tall or fat.

Yeah, women do not have to be as skinny as toothpicks, but at the same time, they shouldn't be cows either. There is a balance between these extremes that can be quite attractive. Personally, I like a woman that does have some "curves" but is relatively skinny.

After reading this thread, I had something pop up in my head that I just have to type just for the hell of it. I'm sure there are a few of you in ATOT that listen to Queen every once in awhile.
