I really wish this place had more girls. Girl forums have some interesting problems that give a fresh perspective on what it's like to be a woman in today's society.

was it wrong to lie about sex?
my boyfriend and I fooled around a bit and he thought, we had sex i just went along with it, because i didnt want to burn his man hood down to the ground.

after a few days but I felt compelled to tell him that we did not in fact have sex, was it wrong to tell him? should i have kept my mouth shut until we actually did do it?

The grammar is really bad, so I had to read this over a few times to understand what was going on. First it sounded a bit like they had sex, she was going along with it, and she wanted to lie and say they didn't. I read it again and now I think she's saying her boyfriend is a retard who doesn't know what sex is. Sometimes life has real problems, sometimes it has self-inflicted problems, and sometimes it has things that people think are problems but are obviously just stupid events.

So there's this guy at school named Connor,and I've just moved there,but i've known him 4 weeks. One day,he starts cheering 4 me,later he says i can cut him,(of course all the guys in his group start giggling/laughing,lol)next day his freinds start whispering,(loud enough so i could hear them)saying for him 2 "ask her out!".Well,i had no idea they were talking about me,so i got into line.soon as i did that,he went back.Ohmygosh,i was so ecstatic!!!!!! okay well im in the process of getting a divorce. and my exidiot wont sign the divorce papers so its been a long and drug out process. so since the time i decided i wanted a divorce i have moved on. ive been dating my botfriend for about 8 months now and we were getting along great. until recently when i started having money problems and problems with my ex and problems with my family and my job etc... you get the drift. so im really stressed out over everything and my boyfriend is trying to be supportive and help me out but in all reality hes making it worse. all i have ever really asked of him through this whole situation was just give me some time to myself. maybe 1 or 2 days a week. thats all. he agreed to that and i thought it wouldnt be a problem. also thought that it would make me happier to see him after i had "me" time. well i was wrong. now he gets whiney and pouty when i dont come to see him. which makes me feel like the masculine one in the relationship.and when were together he has one of 2 things on his mind. 1 being that he wants to cuddle or snuggle, 2 being sex. now i dont mind cuddling but im not a touchy person at all. since i was a child i didnt like being touched a lot. and the sex thing... oh wow i dont even know how to describe that. i guess that i jsut dont like it right now. whether thats because he is pushy with ot or because he turns into a whiney little girl if he doesnt get it. but either way if i give in to him i feel disgusting after.

The best thing about girl forums is that you really can't tell if they're trolling. This person is old enough to be married, but the post still looks like it was written by a 14 year old from 4chan.

There's a guy in my class at school. I'm not very popular (I usually have the whole row to myself ) but he often comes and sits next to me. my boyfriend of 2 years read my journal last night and got his feelings hurt. It talked about my ex and about how i wish the current boyfriend treated me better. What would you do if your boyfriend read your journal? Because i honestly want to hurt mine.

I'm surprised people still keep journals. Back in the Soviet Union, personal journals would be used as evidence against people. Writing "stalin is a wise and beautiful woman" is enough to be sent to a death camp.

My boyfriend is the last man I expected to fall for but he is just the sweetest thing ever. <3 When I have my period instead of being grossed out he comes over and cuddles me like crazy, kisses me all over, makes me laugh, etc to divert from the cramping pain. Other guys before always kept distance and went "ewww!!"

Alright. My fiance is addicted to video games. BADLY. It's not like I can't understand videogaming, either, because I have been an avid video gamer since I was a toddler. I've played more games than my fiance has, but he's just... addicted!

What do I mean? Well, we used to play an online MMORPG (basically, a game where we interacted with thousands LIVE). It was great fun, but eventually he stopped working, failed classes, and completely ignored me all the time. We struggled with that issue for about two years, and finally overcame it... or so I thought.

I think it is because few women post on forums of any kind. At least not a single one I know.

My wife spends a lot of time on some baby forums (like babycenter), and there seems to be quite a following on those message boards. They make a separate board for each month that mothers are expecting to have kids, so they must have a good number of members to be able to do that. It seems that the boards are very predominantly women.

Why do you think that is? I don't think the answer is, "because it's a tech site" anymore.

I don't think that a woman would look at a site like anandTECH, and not think it's a tech site

Um...the answer is pretty obvious I would have thought. Most ladies have no interest in tech...at least not to the point they would talk about it. They tend to talk about social crap , babies, fashion etc.

I remember in a thread about bad driving I mentioned how my mom hit my car with her SUV and my sister in law almost hit that same parked car. Other men shared similar stories that were specifically about women. There was also a thread about women trying to drive my car while the parking brake was on. That started another angry thread full of rants about women and cars. lol

Can you imagine someone posting this in ATOT? Dear lord. They haven't worked out the kinks in their relationship, they're financially unstable, they don't use condoms even though they haven't reached a consensus on children, and she's honestly thinking of dropping out of school to have a baby that she likely cannot afford. I work on a floor with about 100 developers and infrastructure/sys admins and of all those people there are literally about 10 women.

I think that's just represented here and everywhere else.

Technology = sausage fest.
