Real Player & XP

aite, ever since i update to windows XP, i can not run Real Player. it locks up my computer HARD. only way to get it goin is to do hard restart. anytime i try to play any .rm file or any streaming video, lock up. i have fully updated XP, directx9, Real Player version 2.0, build 6.0.11.853 (fully updated).

it is able to load the video, but once it starts tryin to play the file, it locks up competely. any ideas?

happened to me after a while too, i uninstalled, ran registry cleaners then redownloaded a fresh copy and installed. it works (for now).

hrm. i did the uninstall thing, but didn't do the reg cleaners. guess i'll try that.

Could it be an issue with your video card drivers?

vid card is saphire 9500np hacked to 9700pro if that helps any. think i should go back to stock drivers and test?
